Privacy Policy

Charaka Karawita (Apptonishing) provides Geography Quiz (the “App”). This policy explains how information is handled when you play or contact support.

Information on your device

No account is required. Quiz questions and images are bundled with the App and gameplay runs on your device. Selected topics are saved locally to remember your choices. Answers, scores, streaks, and results are held in memory during a round. The App does not upload this information to us or maintain an online quiz history.

Tracking and permissions

The App does not use advertising networks or third-party analytics, track you across apps or websites, or collect your location. It does not request access to contacts, your camera, microphone, or photo library. We do not sell quiz activity or use it for targeted advertising.

When you contact support

If you email quizdirectory@gmail.com, we receive your email address and information you include, such as a problem description or screenshot. We use it to respond, troubleshoot, and manage your request. Our email service provider processes messages to deliver and store email. Please avoid including sensitive personal information.

Apple services and external websites

Apple may process information for App Store distribution, diagnostics, and device backups according to your settings and Apple’s Privacy Policy. Backups may include App preferences. Opening a policy or support webpage sends ordinary web requests to that website and its hosting provider, which may process technical information such as your IP address. These services have their own privacy policies.

Retention and deletion

You can change saved topic choices in the App. Round data is cleared when you leave the quiz or close its results. Deleting the App removes its local data; backup copies are managed through your device backup settings. We retain support correspondence only as needed for the request, related follow-up, or legal obligations. Email quizdirectory@gmail.com to request access, correction, or deletion of information you sent us. We cannot retrieve quiz results held only on your device.

Children’s privacy

Personal information is not required to play, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through gameplay. A parent or guardian can contact quizdirectory@gmail.com to request deletion of information a child sent in a support message.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards for support correspondence. No electronic storage or communication method is completely secure. Protect access to your device to keep locally stored information secure.

Changes and contact
